Warranty & Exchange Policy
Only parts from U-Part-It (UPI) FULL-SERVICE facility are covered under a warranty
- Mechanical parts found to be detective within 30 days are eligible for replacement.
- Engine and transmission warranties are for 90 days from date of purchase.
- Engine warranties are for block and head assemblies. Warranty covers knock, smoke, and excessive oil burn (more than 2 quarts in 3000 miles). Proof of qualified mechanic and adherence to standard automotive procedures are required for engine warranties.
- Transmission warranties require proof of installation by a qualified mechanic and adherence to standard automotive procedures. Front seal, fluid, and filter must be replaced at time of installation to be eligible for warranty considerations.
- Warranty claims to not cover shipping. Warranty returns must be shipped pre-paid freight or delivered to the selling location.
- Warranty and exchange claims must be accompanied by the original invoice.
- No warranty or reimbursement for labor.
- No warranty on electrical parts.
- No warranty on glass.
- No warranty on sheet metal or any body parts, interior or exterior.
- Warranty-eligible parts must be clearly marked by UPI. Any attempt to alter, remove, or conceal the UPI mark will void the warranty.
- Damaged or altered parts are not warrantied.
- It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all parts upon receipt.
- A refund or store credit will be offered only if a replacement part is not readily available. Refunds will be by company check or store credit. No cash refunds. Exchanges, store credits, and refunds are only available to the original purchaser.
- Used tires are sold "as is", as any defects in a used tire may not be apparent. UPI encourages the purchaser to have the tires inspected and installed by a professional installer.
